Job Role(s) To be able to input income or expense entries into the accounting system that the organization uses.
To pay bills, create invoices for the companyâ€™s clients, and enter vendor invoices into the system (sales and purchase). They are also responsible for administering payroll, accounts/payments receivable, and accounts/payments payable to keep records up-to-date.
To maintain daily entries in various registers like accounting software, sale-purchase register, presence register, etc.
To visit bank regularly for cheque deposit-collection and also perform other bank related activities.
To reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
Shall update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
To accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
To update financial statements.
To update sales and purchase entry.
Have knowledge of software such as Tally, Empire, Equal and Tripta and also able to perform task on these software.
To avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
To plan, assign and review staffâ€™s work.
To develop and document business processes and accounts policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
